YouTube is an Internet site that specializes in publishing user-published videos. As of early 2007, YouTube was one of the top ten most popular websites on the Internet. Launched in late 2005, the site was bought by Google a year later for more than $ 1 billion. At that time, the site had more than twenty million users, mostly teenagers and young adults.
